Alan Crites, CEO and President
Alan Crites brings extensive corporate development, operating management, and business process experience to Vendavo. Mr. Crites spent 15 years at General Electric, where he held executive positions in a broad range of GE businesses, including general manager of GE Computer Service. Prior to joining Vendavo in 2003, he spent 12 years building successful and rapidly growing technology companies as a general partner at InterWest Partners, a leading venture capital partnership.
Mr. Crites holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Michigan State University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
Jamie Rapperport, Founder & EVP Marketing and Business Development
Jamie Rapperport brings an impressive record of entrepreneurial success to Vendavo. Prior to Vendavo, he served as a founder and vice president of marketing and sales at VXtreme, a leading streaming video technology provider which he helped lead to its category-leading position and subsequent acquisition by Microsoft. He thereafter directed development of strategic partnerships with top telecom companies for Microsoft-owned WebTV Networks. Mr. Rapperport's 20 years of experience in the technology sector also includes senior management, product management, marketing, and business development positions with Lotus, Sun Microsystems, and Approach Software.
Mr. Rapperport holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Harvard and an M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
Skip Bacon, Senior Vice President, Product Management
Skip Bacon is a veteran of enterprise software applications, with 16 years of experience encompassing a variety of roles with software companies, consulting firms, and corporate information technology groups. Most recently, he served as Group Vice President of Application Technology at Siebel Systems (now part of Oracle), the leading provider of enterprise CRM applications. In this role he had complete responsibility for Siebel's Enterprise CRM application platforms, which were deployed on an unparalleled scale by 4,000 worldwide customers. Prior to Siebel, Mr. Bacon held positions at GT Capital Management, Oracle Corporation, MicroStrategy Inc., and Booz-Allen Hamilton.
Mr. Bacon holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the Johns Hopkins University and attended the Program for Management Development at Harvard Business School.
Neil Lustig, Senior Vice President, Worldwide Sales
Neil Lustig is an accomplished executive with over 20 years of experience in global sales. He joins Vendavo from Ariba where had a great track record and led Ariba’s North American field operations for two and a half years. Previously, he served as general manager of Ariba’s EMEA field operations where he significantly grew the size of the business. Prior to joining Ariba, Mr. Lustig spent 16 years at IBM, serving in a variety of sales and account management roles.
Mr. Lustig earned his Bachelor of Arts degree, magna cum laude, in computer science and applied mathematics from State University of New York at Albany.
Jennifer Maul, Senior Vice President, Global Solutions Delivery
Jennifer Maul is responsible for implementations, integration, education, and customer support, bringing over 14 years of experience to this role. Prior to joining Vendavo, she was Senior Vice President of Customer Operations at SCI Systems, an enterprise software company, building her team from start to full-scale operations, and delivering implementation tools and methodologies that led the company to a #5 top customer service ranking among 150 technology vendors. Ms. Maul has also held senior management, engineering, and support positions at Eclipsys Corporation and Sunquest Information Systems.
Ms. Maul holds Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and Management Information Systems from the University of Maryland.
Andrew Stern, CFO
Andrew Stern has 20 years of broad-based, CFO experience in high growth, venture capital-backed, software and hardware companies. Among his prior positions, Mr. Stern was the CFO of Datasweep where he led the successful acquisition by Rockwell Automation. Prior to Datasweep, he held CFO positions at NetContinuum and Skire. Mr. Stern was also the CFO at two highly successful enterprise software companies: Arbor Software (now Hyperion Solutions), the leading company in online analytical processing (OLAP), and Gupta Corporation, the early leader in the client-server software revolution.
Mr. Stern holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California at Berkeley and an M.B.A. from San Francisco State University.
Narayanan Vijaykumar (Vijay), Senior Vice President, Engineering
Narayanan Vijaykumar brings to Vendavo over 15 years of experience in engineering team management and enterprise software development. His prior experience includes leadership positions in the Enterprise Integration Products division of Borland, where Mr. Vijaykumar led the engineering teams responsible for the division's complex software engineering projects, was responsible for R&D and Quality Assurance, and built foundation technology used in the company's applications. Mr. Vijaykumar's prior experience also includes engineering positions at Unisys.
Mr. Vijaykumar holds a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical Engineering degree from the Indian Institute of Technology in Madras and an M.S. in Computer Science from the University of California at Santa Barbara
